Screen and re-coat process
In the event of a screen and re-coat the floor is usually in good condition but the protective wear layer needs refinishing. Usually light scratches will come out as long as there aren’t any dents or deep gauges. Deep scratches running across planks most likely will not be able to be restored in this process. In the event of deep scratches the best way to restore the wood would be with a full sand. With the 175 buffing machine and some mesh screens we will be able to remove the old finish layer and after we clean the area free from dust and other contaminates we will deep clean the area with our Karcher floor machine and then we can start the finishing process. We apply two layers of finish after the cleaning process.
